Guide to the Season Ending NFL Events at DraftKings
The NFL regular season is now coming to an end and the last two weeks of the season sees teams jostling for home advantage in the playoffs, other teams fighting for survival and the rest looking towards 2015 – whilst fans look towards the excitement of the playoffs. However, these are the two weeks that Daily Fantasy Sports NFL enthusiasts look forward to most, with the biggest prizes of the year on offer.
In this article I look at all of the six big season ending tournaments being played at DraftKings. For each event, I explain how you can still enter and I also look at the prize funds, with a particular focus on the life changing prizes at the top ends of the tournaments. If you’re looking for a boost at Christmas or New Year, these could be the events for you.

$3.1 Million World Championship Main Event

However, the player who outscores all others that weekend will walk away as Daily Fantasy Sports Millionaire with the title of World Champion! 419 players will walk away in the money – each with at least $2,500. Here is a run-down of the big prizes.
The 3.1 Million World Championship event is the biggest one in the $10 Million Fantasy Football World Championships Series and the one which every DFS player dreams of getting their hands on!

NFL Week Seventeen
$250,000 Play Action Championship
This event is literally open to all players of daily fantasy sports, even if not a member of DraftKings! This is because, when joining and making a deposit, you’ll gain a free entry into this event. For existing members, the $2 entry makes it available for many, and due to this, there is room for 143,750 players in this event. The winner will pick up a cool $25,000 (not bad for a potential free tournament) with all of the top seven claiming at least $1,000. Even if you finish 28,750th you’ll still claim $4, which might mean you can play this event in both 2015 and 2016!
$500,000 Hail Mary Championship
This is a mid-price tournament at just $12. This tournament has an entry of 47,510 players, 9,500 of who will finish in the money. The first prize is an impressive $100,000 ($12 to $100,000 is some Hail Mary pass!). The top 20 players will all earn at least $1,000 with anyone making the cash going home with at least $20.
$2,000,000 Touchdown Championship
This is the tournament for players looking to finish the season with a flourish. This event is open to 11,111 players with an entry fee of $200. 2,300 players will make the cash, with a minimum of $300 for these players. The winner of the event won’t be too worried about the fact that their Christmas present is three days late, as they will have $500,000 in their pocket. The runner up receives $200,000 and third place is worth $100,000. All other players in the top ten will win at least $10,000.
